If I could have built Friend in Store with a stone and chisel, I would have.

 I didn’t set out to build an app or a tech platform. I simply wanted to celebrate and bring together the in-store events I kept noticing around NYC. The parties, workshops, tastings, talks, game nights, run clubs, closet sales, pop-ups and more happening inside stores.

 I kept seeing these amazing events, except only the day after they took place. Always wishing I’d known earlier. Or had one central place to find them.

 It didn’t exist. So, my team & I built one.
