A store with mojo! Big or small. New or old. We’re drawn to stores that have a unique perspective and a desire to create in-store experiences that bring people together.

We take great pride in visiting, shopping and attending events at each store before extending an invitation to join the platform. Living our brand ethos of “going there”. Our goal is to build a diverse tapestry of stores that bring vibrancy to our streetscapes and connect us together, in-person.

We define an event as an in-store group gathering with a set beginning and end. Workshops, tastings, talks, opening parties, screenings, game nights and more.

We update the app daily with new stores, events and in-store news. So be sure to check back often!

If an event requires an RSVP or paid ticket, it will be noted on the Event Profile with a link to do so.

We recommend consulting the store’s website and/or social channels for any updates related to an event change, postponement or cancellation.

These are in-store perks offered by the individual store to you, our Friend! A privilege can be a Friend-only discount, an exclusive experience, something off-menu or more. Privilege details can be found on the store or event profile, accessed by tapping the “Redeem” button. Each business sets its own privilege terms and conditions.

When you create an account on the Friend in Store app, you will automatically receive an in-app ‘Friend Card’ with your name on it, found in your Profile.

Presently, Friend in Store is only distributed as an iOS app.
