Your store is now part of a hand-selected collection of diverse, independent retailers across NYC. Brought together, along with your in-store experiences, in one app to easily search & discover. Offering our Friends (app users) a highly curated resource and our stores, a targeted channel to reach high-intent customers and drive foot traffic & sales.
Key things to know
Each store has its own app profile where Friends can access store details:
Photos, description, links to web, map & phone, store hours and upcoming events & news.
The Discover tab is where Friends can find & filter stores by neighborhood, store type and special features.
The Events tab is where Friends can search & sort in-store events by neighborhood, date, store type and event type.
The Stroll tab is where Friends can access insider-curated store roundups. If your store is included in a Store Stroll, it will appear on your profile.
The Home Screen is where Friends can find the latest events, strolls and a cross-section of in-store news, such as sample sales, brand launches, limited-time menus & more.
Submitting your events and news is easy and accessible any time via our dedicated web portal. Go to friendinstore.com, click the “Store Log In” button and enter passcode: HelloFriend
If your store is extending an in-store privilege – a Friend-only discount, a gift with purchase, access to an exclusive experience, etc. – Friends may find details via your store profile.
Upon app sign up, every Friend receives a personalized Friend Card with their name on it, accessed via their user profile. A great way for store teams to say hi and make a connection!
