At Friend in Store, we set out to champion the in-store experience. An app designed to discover extraordinary NYC stores through their events. The parties, workshops, tastings, talks, pop-ups, game nights and more happening inside stores across the city.
We built Friend in Store with the conviction that stores are no longer just places of commerce, but centers of community. Spaces to shop, yes, but also to discover, learn, exchange and connect.
Our app is dedicated to celebrating this retail evolution and supporting stores in amplifying their in-store events to reach new audiences and drive foot traffic.

Friend in Store 2.0 has arrived! After a year of building and testing, we’re opening the platform to all NYC stores, inviting you to share your in-store events with our Friends.
Our goal: to become the go-to destination for discovering and promoting in-store experiences across the city.
Register your store via the link below. After a short review process*, you’ll be set up to start submitting events.
*We define a “store” as a space with shoppable retail. At this time, we’re not featuring restaurants, bars, or fitness
