We’re Friend in Store: an app dedicated to celebrating the in-store experience.
The workshops, tastings, talks, parties, screenings, pop-ups and more
happening inside stores every day across our city.
And not just any stores, but unique & independent retailers. The ones that fuel our local economies, bring vibrancy to our streetscapes and connect us together, in-person.
We set out to bring a collection of these stores & their in-store events
together to easily search & discover.
Why in-store?
Well, we believe there’s a magic that happens when you visit a place.
An experience, yes, but also something more.
An opportunity for a new discovery. A chance for a new encounter. A human connection.
Feel the same? We had a hunch!
We’ve long been fans, followers, subscribers & customers of your work.
We love attending your events, reading your newsletters, sharing your IG posts, marveling
at your design work and more in stores across the city.
Admiring your unique lens while serving a similar goal: to inspire people to venture out
and come together in stores.
We’d love to feature you on the app.
We recently launched a new app feature, Store Strolls: showcasing roundups of stores to
create unique roving retail experiences.
We’d love to invite you to guest curate a Store Stroll!
Your Stroll can focus on any street, neighborhood or theme and will include a map and list
of stores, as well as your bio, photo and link to your work.
