We’re an app dedicated to celebrating the in-store experience.
The independent bookshops, fashion boutiques, florists, wine stores, record shops, specialty grocers and more that bring vibrancy to our streetscapes & connect us in-person through the in-store events, activations and programs they host.
Our Mission
We’re bringing these stores and their in-store experiences together in one app to easily search & discover.
For our Friends (app users), we’re creating a curated resource to find and attend in-store events across the city. And for our stores, a new channel to promote in-store activities, attract event attendees and acquire new customers.
Your Invitation
We love your store. We’re customers! But moreover, we love your in-store experiences and would like to extend an invitation to join Friend in Store.
Our Curatorial Approach
Each store on the app has been hand-selected to ensure we serve (and you reach) a shared, high-intent audience. Building a vibrant collective of stores that produce great events & experiences.
Your Opportunity
Friend in Store is invite-only. As part of our collective, it’s free to have your store featured on the app.
And being early days, we’re also waiving any fee to feature your events and in-store news on the app until later 2025 (posting an event will always be optional).

Click below and you’ll be directed to share your store details to build your profile (5-mins). We’ll then follow up to snap a few store photos.
Once complete, we’ll notify you when your profile is live and can begin submitting your in-store events & news to amplify on the app!
